I am walking miles and miles in bad weather, going door to door and petitioning in public spaces to give you an opportunity to vote for a non-partisan president in your state. This is enormously difficult for any organization, much less me on a shoestring budget, to pull off. I have been working since I was a teenager, and I'm showing every day that with the same persistence, independence and determination that millions of Americans live by every day, we can bring about a new era in the politics of our country.

Unlike every major candidate for President, I don't have a staff and I'm not accepting donations. I'm doing the work of campaigning myself, meeting you at your parks, public spaces and homes. I'm putting in the work because it's worth it, and because that's what it takes to help rid our government of the rot of party politics.

Running our government should not be something only for people in well-connected families, rich levels of wealth, or powerful political parties. A true democracy, and a healthy democracy, should be open to everyone's voice within it. Ideas, integrity and hard work should determine our leaders. Character, not charades, should influence our choices.  If you would like a hard worker in the White House, I hope you'll consider the way I run my campaign as a demonstration of how I'll run your government for you.
